Gazelle.com
I don’t usually do this, but I want to pimp a service that I am very pleased with. If you’ve got some old electronics gathering dust, you have a handful of options of what to do with them: Hack it up for some exciting new use, give it away, or sell it. When it comes to selling it, eBay and Craig’s list are probably your top two destinations. Both involve you crafting a catchy headline, describing your gadget and publishing a listing. Oh, and you have to actively field questions and generally work to get your item sold and shipped.
There’s got to be a better way!

Lucky Number 13
FlareSmith v0.13 has been released, and provides two important fixes for those upgrading. It now fully supports WordPress MU, as well as fixing a nasty bug where new users couldn’t get their FeedBurner feed name to save on the options screen. It is highly recommended that all users upgrade immediately.
FlareSmith allows you to insert FeedBurner’s FeedFlare service into your WordPress powered blog without having to edit any theme files. The same FeedFlare code (a small javascript snippet added to end of every post) also enables the use of FeedBurner Stats (including the ‘Free’Pro version).
Florida Creatives 18: Eric Marden
I’m a little late in posting this, but a few weeks ago I got together with Ryan Price, esteemed colleague and founder of Florida Creatives. We recorded the following podcast… over a bottle of scotch.
We ramble a little, but during the conversation we discussed the beginnings of Florida Creatives, the similar idea I had in 2001, and a variety of other pursuits involving organizing groups of like minded people. If you can get past the tangents, I think you’ll learn about the local scene, and your humble hosts.
Enjoy!
