Capistrano is a powerful deployment automation script written in Ruby. It is highly rails centric and assumes much about your hosting environment. xen:deploy is a collection of recipes, tasks, and strategies for managing non-rails applications, specifically WordPress, Drupal and BuddyPress.
The project is brand new and all the action is at the xen:deploy github repository.
