And by supporting I mean, how many non-business sites have you upgraded to a paying account with?
I am proud to support:
How many of you own a site that has a premium account that you charge money for? Do you find that you are more apt to support another site that you find useful because of this? What is your criteria for making the leap to a paid account?
I find this question interesting, because I recently starting upgrading to paying accounts on sites that I use all the time in the past few years or so - starting with Fickr. The other upgrades are more recent. I just wonder if the money does any good, you know? Are paying accounts enough to keep these sites afloat, or do they need to do advertising as well?
What are some other good ways for sites to make money that doesn’t involve Ads or other intrusive forms of making money on your site?
